Burr Oak St. Water and Road Improvements

This downtown improvement project reconstructed old watermain, storm sewer, and pavement and made pedestrian travel easier and safer. In addition to our engineering work, CEI’s consulting services included MDOT permitting, EGLE permitting, Bureau of Indian affairs funding, traffic control, and public relations. The main road east and west through town was also completely reconstructed. The Village of Athens, Michigan enjoys the aesthetically pleasing improvements and has new underground infrastructure to provide reliability to its constituents.
